Spiros Metaxas is a highly experienced Barrister and trial advocate with a busy broad legal practice that enables him to draw on his 13 years of corporate experience working in Information Technology and Business Systems. He has outstanding skills as an advocate with extensive court experience. He is detail oriented, efficient and an organised professional with vast experience in legal practice knowledge, case/risk assessment, Alternative Dispute Resolution / Mediation, running cases and managing litigation. 

He has proficiency in various stages of litigation from providing written advice, drafting pleadings and representing parties at mediation and conferences, to interlocutory applications and final hearings. 

In addition, he has substantial experience in commercial matters from providing advice, participating in negotiations, case/risk management and drafting contracts.

During his time at The Victorian Bar, he has gained extensive experience in Court procedure and protocol, case management and legal research. He regularly appears in V.C.A.T., The Magistrates’ Court of Victoria and The County Court of Victoria. He has also been involved in trials and appeals in The Supreme Court of Victoria.
