About

Jason graduated with a Bachelor of Laws degree from Monash University in 2000, working at a senior level in both commercial and regulatory settings before coming to the Victorian Bar in 2014. He brings significant commercial experience to his practice.

He is an experienced trial advocate and skilled cross-examiner, and is a Lead Counsel in the VLA Family Law Trial Counsel Development Program. He is noted for both his thorough preparation and his genuine engagement with clients.

Jason’s regular work includes providing advice and appearing in relation to parenting and property matters, conducting trials, and appearing in appeals.

He regularly appears in Magellan cases and for the Independent Children’s Lawyer, and other high-conflict or complex property and parenting matters in both Division 1 and Division 2 of the FCFCOA. Jason is also an effective mediator and is particularly sought after, whether as mediator or as an advocate, where parties seek for the mediation to be informed by recent, regular experience in contested court proceedings.

Jason now practises exclusively in family law.
