Jason has a broad commercial and family law practice. He also appears in criminal matters including matters prosecuted by local councils and other authorities.
He is a thoughtful and considerate communicator who adjusts his approach to suit the needs of each client and is able to give proper care both to the pragmatic considerations and the human element of each brief.
He appears regularly in Victorian and Federal courts and tribunals, and has successfully represented clients in complex trials in commercial and family law matters.
Jason is currently a Chair of the Medicines Australia Code of Conduct Committee, and a Chair of the Medical Technology Association of Australia Code Monitoring Committee. He regularly presents seminars for industry on compliance with therapeutic goods regulation.
Jason appears regularly at Dandenong and Melbourne and in regional areas. His work in family law defended hearings has included matters involving serious allegations of child abuse, and the examination of vulnerable and sensitive witnesses. He has experience with airport watch list applications, parenting cases where a “no contact” outcome is sought by a party, and complex property disputes. He has also appeared as counsel for the Independent Children’s Lawyer, and has a committed focus on the best interests of children in all matters involving children.
Jason also appears in intervention order matters, primarily for family law clients.

Jason has appeared in a range of criminal matters including cases involving charges related to domestic violence, and prosecutions by non-police authorities such as the ATO and local government authorities.
Jason is a Nationally Accredited Mediator and brings the full range of his experience to mediating disputes of all kinds, particularly complex commercial or consumer law matters, and matters where scientific and medical material is involved.
Jason graduated with a Bachelor of Laws degree from Monash University in 2000. He has extensive experience in a number of distinct areas, including advertising and therapeutic goods regulation, and regularly presents training seminars on advertising for attendees such as in-house lawyers and regulatory affairs professionals. He readily deals with complex evidence such as scientific, medical, and technical material, including clinical trials and expert reports.
He has considerable hands-on business experience, including as a Brand Manager for a FMCG brand in the therapeutic goods sector.
From 2006 to 2014 Jason was the independent Chairman of the Complaints Resolution Panel, a statutory body dealing with complaints about therapeutic goods advertising under the Therapeutic Goods Regulations 1990.
