Andrew Burnett has over 17 years experience across commercial litigation, taxation, construction, property, wills and probate, and industrial relations. He regularly appears in the Supreme Court of Victoria and the Federal Court of Australia. The breadth of his practice allows him to advise on complex litigation that spans multiple areas of law.
Andrew was admitted in April 2009 and practised as a solicitor for eight years at Clayton Utz, where he conducted litigation in the Supreme Court of Victoria, the Supreme Court of New South Wales, and the Federal Court of Australia across contractual disputes, competition and consumer law, and white collar crime. His eight years as a solicitor at Clayton Utz, including four as Senior Associate, give him a practical understanding of how matters are run from the instructing end.
Andrew is a member of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators and accepts appointments as counsel in commercial arbitration disputes.
