Marcel White has extensive criminal law advocacy experience. Currently, he has a busy prosecution practice in the County Court of Victoria and Magistrates Court, in Melbourne and on Circuit, on behalf of the Crown. He also appears on Council and Compliance hearings in Courts and Tribunals. He appears in bail applications, committals, trials and pleas in mitigation.
Marcel's criminal defence practice has included running cases arising out of alleged serious violent offending, property crimes, fraud, family violence, fines and infringements, driving charges, sex offender registration matters, breach of CCO and Council prosecutions. He is also available for personal protection/family violence hearings.
Additionally, Marcel has broad commercial advocacy experience in VCAT, the Magistrates' Court, County Court and Supreme Court.
Marcel White lives in the Riverina (Albury/Wodonga), with his wife Melissa and their children.
