This annual competition pairs Aitken Partners staff with barristers from Svenson Barristers, giving the next generation of legal talent the opportunity to tackle challenging cases, refine their advocacy skills, and establish strong professional connections.

The Kirton Cup is named in honour of Her Honour Suzanne Kirton, who began her career at Aitken Partners, spent her time at the Bar with Svenson Barristers, and went on to serve as a VCAT member before becoming a Judge of the County Court.

Her outstanding career and commitment to advocacy inspired this annual event.
