Lee has experience in a broad range of general commercial disputes. This has included matters arising out of commercial contracts, consumer terms and conditions, service agreements, leases and licences. He is experience in matters including statutory interpretation, privacy, employment and regulatory frameworks at a state and Commonwealth level. He welcomes briefs in a wide array of commercial matters including insolvency, corporate governance, restructuring, compliance, regulatory, trusts and equity. Lee also has experience advising on anti-money laundering and counter terrorism financing.
Immediately prior to joining the Bar, Lee held the role of Legal Counsel for the CFA where he had conduct of a wide range of commercial matters as well as statutory disability claims, general negligence matters, policy and procedure reviews as well as those involving statutory interpretation.
Lee has held positions as legal counsel with organisations including Vail Resorts, Inc. - Perisher, Falls Creek & Mount Hotham, Software companies, and the Victorian Commission for Gambling and Liquor Regulation. Additionally he has worked as a lawyer in general private commercial litigation.
