Veronica accepts briefs to appear and advise in commercial, public law and common law matters. She accepts briefs direct from in-house counsel.

Before coming to the Bar, Veronica practised as a solicitor in the commercial disputes and workplace relations teams at Gadens. At Gadens, Veronica worked on various commercial matters including litigation involving breach of directors’ duties; litigation involving other breaches of the Corporations Act 2001 (Cth); and, drafting contracts. Veronica also conducted her own appearances in the regional and metropolitan Magistrates’ Courts of Victoria, the Federal Court of Australia and the Federal Circuit Court of Australia. Veronica was a co-author of Gadens’ submission to the Australian Law Reform Commission regarding Elder Abuse Issues Paper 47, which is available online and can be accessed here: https://www.alrc.gov.au/sites/default/files/subs/82._gadens_.pdf

Before her employment at Gadens, Veronica was a solicitor at David Davis and Associates. Here, Veronica worked on litigation matters involving wills and estates, in particular, disputes concerning the distribution of estates.

Immediately before joining the Bar, Veronica was Senior Associate to the Honourable Justice Almond of the Supreme Court of Victoria. In this role, Veronica assisted his Honour in a broad range of commercial matters, including contractual, partnership and joint venture disputes, breaches of directors’ duties, misleading and deceptive conduct disputes and insurance disputes. Veronica assisted his Honour in all stages of proceedings, including, at directions hearings, interlocutory applications, urgent applications, trials and handing down judgments and rulings.

Veronica is currently undertaking a Master of Laws at The University of Melbourne, where she is studying subjects in commercial disputes and public and constitutional law.
