Joh accepts briefs in Planning, criminal, quasi-criminal, coronial matters, appeals, commercial and human rights law matters.

Joh is currently completing a Masters of Law at Melbourne University and tutors in Criminal Practise and Procedure at Australian Catholic University.  She also sits on the tribunal of the Victorian Amateur Football Association.

Prior to coming to the Bar, Joh was a criminal registry lawyer at the Court of Appeal where she managed a case load of complex conviction and sentence appeal files and provided detailed legal research. She was also an Associate at the County Court for a judge who sat in the Sexual Offences List. Through both these roles, Joh was exposed to a wide range of criminal matters – pleas, trials, supervision orders and appeals.

As an undergraduate Joh interned with the International Organization for Migration in Phnom Penh and worked on HIV and human trafficking, protection of human rights projects.

Joh read with Ben Ihle QC and her senior mentor was Colin Golvan AM QC.  Her second mentor was Megan Tittensor SC.

Prior to the law, Joh owned a successful restaurant, was a ski instructor and a golf caddy. She also speaks Japanese fluently.
