Before coming to the Bar, George was a partner in a successful medium-sized firm, practising in a variety of areas.  As a solicitor advocate, George regularly in the Family and Federal Circuit Courts, and all Victorian Courts.

George attained Accreditation by the Law Institute of Victoria as a Family Law Specialist in 2009.  Since that time, George been primarily engaged in family law and related matters, such as intervention orders, and has continued to primarily practice in that area in his time at the Bar.
