- building surveyor’s duties;
- VBA disciplinary proceedings and show cause process; and
- Council prosecutions.
Employment law
Conrad is experienced in acting and advising in respect of underpayment/unpaid entitlement claims, general protections and unfair dismissal.
General Commercial Law
Conrad has experience in a wide variety of general commercial matters, such as insurance, contractual disputes, owners corporation disputes, leasing, consumer protection, shareholder oppression, and partnerships. In 2019 – 2020 Conrad was briefed in the shareholder class action Alison Court v Spotless Group Holdings Ltd – Federal Court VID561/2017 as a member of the counsel team led by Michael Garner.
Crime
Conrad appears in pleas, bail applications and summary contests.
Background
Conrad is dedicated to pro bono work and volunteers at Fitzroy Legal Service.
Conrad read with Jonathan Kirkwood and his senior mentor is Wendy Harris QC.
Prior to joining the bar Conrad was an associate at Piper Alderman in the commercial litigation team. Prior to that he was a solicitor at McKays Solicitors in regional QLD, practicing in employment law.
