Chris completed his law degree at Monash University in 2003 and came to the Bar with five years of experience practising as a lawyer in family law and commercial litigation. Firms he worked at include Macpherson + Kelley, Mallesons Stephen Jaques, and Robin Harrison & Associates (now Dandenong Family Lawyers).

Chris now predominantly practises in all areas of family law arising from matrimonial and de facto relationships, including parenting and property proceedings. He regularly appears in, and drafts documents for, the Federal Circuit Court and Family Court. Chris also regularly appears at mediations, including as mediator, and Applications for Intervention Orders.
