About

Jenny brings to the bar a strong and principled work ethic, sound forensic judgment and effective communication skills. Her motivation is always to achieve the best possible results for her clients.

Jenny practises in the areas of Criminal Law, Wills and Probate (Testators Family Maintenance), Children’s Court Criminal matters, Intervention Orders and VOCAT.  Since coming to the bar, Jenny has also appeared in the Court of Appeal for both the Prosecution and Defence on conviction appeals and prosecuted matters arising out of the Serious Offenders Act 2018.

Prior to coming to the bar, Jenny was a Senior Solicitor and acting deputy manager at the Office of Public Prosecutions.  She was responsible for the preparation of a variety matters in the Children’s Court, Magistrates’ Court, County Court and Supreme Court including committals, pleas and trials.

These matters included murder, manslaughter, armed robbery, aggravated burglary, fraud, drugs, driving matters and assaults.

Jenny was involved in prosecuting Occupational Health & Safety matters as well as cases arising under the Crimes (Mental Impairment and Unfitness to be Tried) Act 1997.

Jenny regularly provided written advice in relation to complex legal issues that required significant research.
