About

Ingrid is an experienced advocate who has a particular specialty in Powers of Attorney and Guardianship and Administration matters. She also appears in VCAT human rights matters and disciplinary reviews.

Ingrid is also regularly briefed in Family Law matters. Her strengths include sharp analytical skills, leading to effective litigation strategies and advice. Ingrid is adept at navigating clients through internal family disputes, with sensitivity and compassion. She is a nationally accredited mediator.

Ingrid also has extensive experience in family violence and personal safety orders.

Other diverse experience includes appearing in Coronial Inquests, crimes compensation matters, criminal matters and commercial matters.

Throughout her time at the Bar, Ingrid has mentored, taught, and assessed at the Bar Readers Course and at the Leo Cussen Institute. She has also mentored junior members of the Papua New Guinea Bar as part of the Victorian Bar LTI Mentoring Program.

Ingrid has served on numerous Bar committees and is a current director on the board of the Peter O’Callaghan Gallery.

Prior to being called to the Bar, Ingrid held senior positions in the State Government. She holds a Master of Fine Arts in visual arts and loves skiing.
