About

Douglas is available to appear and advise in a broad range of civil matters. His principal areas of practice include wills and estates, family law and property disputes. He appears routinely in trials and mediations. Douglas has a strong connection with Regional people and issues.

Douglas also serves as a senior officer in the Australian Army with a career as an Infantry officer.  His service has included numerous domestic and regional operations, together with command, instructional and staff officer postings.  In the 2006 Australia Day Honours, he was awarded the Conspicuous Service Cross (CSC) for service in Malaysia during the 2005 Tsunami.   He is presently appointed as the Director General Reserves – Army.
