During her career at the Bar, Jessica has developed a broad range of practice with a particular focus on Work Cover and injuries related matters.

Jessica has gained extensive experience acting for plaintiffs in the areas of general compensation and Personal Injuries, in particular, WorkCover (work injuries) and TAC claims (transport injuries). She is in the Worksafe preferred Counsel List, therefore also acts for respondents/defendants in WorkCover matters.

In addition, Jessica has also advised on medical negligence matters and appeared on the matters involving traffic laws, intervention orders and the Magistrates’ court criminal laws.

She also has experience in a diverse range of commercial matters including trusts, contractual and property disputes, trade practices matters.

Prior to coming to the Bar, Jessica has particular expertise with an excellent track record in running MRT cases (Migration Review Tribunal).

Prior to embarking on a legal career, Jessica had practiced both Western Medicine and Chinese Medicine for 15 years in total. Her knowledge and experience in both medicines serve her well for her specialty in medico-legal and personal injury matters.

Jessica holds a Juris Doctor law Degree from the University of Melbourne, in addition to both Western and Chinese Medicine qualifications.
