Michelle practices broadly in commercial and administrative law. She has a particular interest in equity, trusts and deceased estates. Michelle combines her extensive dispute resolution experience, legal skills and strategic instinct to provide pragmatic advice and assist clients to achieve their best outcomes.
Michelle joined the Victorian Bar in 2019 where she appeared as counsel, led and unled, in all Victorian courts, the Victorian Civil and Administrative Tribunal and the Federal Circuit and Family Court of Australia. In 2023 Michelle returned to Perth.
Michelle regularly appears for, and advises, a range of public and private clients on matters including civil regulation, contractual disputes, consumer law, energy regulation, property law, trusts, deceased estates, family provision claims, and equity.
Prior to joining the Bar, Michelle had a diverse legal career in private practice and government. Michelle has acquired knowledge of commercial litigation, trade practices and regulatory law through roles at Allens, the ACCC and the Australian Government Solicitor. In a boutique general practice, Michelle advised private companies and high net wealth individuals on a broad range of litigious and non-litigious matters.
