Isaac practises in criminal law and accepts briefs in public and administrative law matters.  

Isaac was called to the Hong Kong Bar in 2018 upon completing the 1-year pupillage at the Department of Justice. From then on, he worked at the Department as a government counsel, with 5 years as a public prosecutor, firstly in the District Court section and later in the Court of the First Instance of the High Court section. As prosecutor, Isaac has advised and handled a wide spectrum of cases, including drug offences, murder, burglary, robbery, kidnapping, rape, indecent assault, violent crime, fatal or serious injury traffic accidents, fraud, money laundering, illegal immigration and illegal exportation. In Hong Kong, Isaac appeared as sole counsel at all court levels from the Magistracy to the Court of Appeal. He prosecuted in bails, mentions, committal mentions, pleas and sentences, bench trials, appeals and has conducted inquests. 

He graduated from the City University of Hong Kong with First Class Honours in Bachelor of Laws and held the Hong Kong Jockey Club Scholarship. During his studies, Isaac published the article ‘Solving the Loophole and Unworkability in Proprietary Chinese Medicine Regulatory and Registration System’ (2016) Volume 10 Hong Kong Journal of Legal Studies p.83-108. 

Isaac is reading with Michael Stanton and his senior mentor is Emrys Nekvapil SC. 

He is fluent in Cantonese and can communicate in Mandarin.
