Sarah welcomes briefs to appear, advise and draw documents for all court and tribunal matters.
Prior to coming to the Bar Sarah was the Criminal Division Legal Officer with the Supreme Court of Victoria for 6 ½ years. In this role Sarah provided legal assistance and support to the Principal Judge (including the Honourable Justice Teague, the Honourable Justice Cummins, the Honourable Justice Bongiorno, the Honourable Justice Coghlan) and other judges sitting in the Criminal Division in criminal and administrative law matters.

Sarah was the principal contact point for applications made to the Criminal Division, including applications under the Bail Act 1977, Crimes (Mental Impairment and Unfitness to be Tried) Act 1997, Serious Sex Offenders (Supervision and Detention) Act 2009 and the Major Crime (Investigative
Powers) Act 2004 and was responsible to the Principal Judge for the co-ordination of listing of these matters and providing research assistance to the judges of the Criminal Division.
Prior to her role at the Supreme Court Sarah worked as a solicitor in a private Victorian law firm acting in a wide variety of litigation, including contractual disputes, anti-discrimination law, guardianship and administration law, criminal law and commercial law.
Sarah is reading with Geoff McCormick and her senior mentor is Jane Dixon SC.
