About

I regularly appear in the Magistrates’ Court in both criminal and civil matters. These include:

  • Criminal (such as drink driving, theft, assault) and
  • Civil (such as contract disputes, debt claims, property law and enforcement of judgments).

I also appear in the County Court in plea hearings. This includes matters such as theft, sexual assault, obtaining financial advantage by deception, and dishonesty including fraud.

In the Supreme Court I have run Part IV and Confiscation Act matters.

I appear in interlocutory applications, directions hearings, mentions and contested hearings in the Magistrates’, County and Supreme Courts. I also appear at VCAT and VOCAT. I am regularly briefed to advise generally.

I also appear at mediations including Part IV claims. I have extensive experience in will disputes, neighbourhood disputes, retail and residential leases, and general contractual issues.

I appear across Melbourne and all of Victoria.

I am Vice Chairman of the AFL Victoria Tribunal and also sit on the Victorian Turf Cricket Association (VTCA) Tribunal, including as Chair. I am a director of the Australian Italian Lawyers Association Inc. (AILA).

Before coming to the Bar 2005, I was a Solicitor at a busy suburban practice where I got experience in a wide range of legal practice. This included matters relating to wills and probate, residential and retail leases, property law, summary crime, and so on.
