Marcus accepts briefs in commercial, building and property (including residential and retail lease matters). He has worked on an impressive array of advice work and willingly accepts briefs drafting pleadings and for drafting work generally. He also appears in IVO and VOCAT matters.

With seven years, prior to joining the Bar, engaging with and assisting solicitors and the wider profession in various senior roles at the Supreme Court of Victoria, Marcus is eager to strengthen this engagement as he develops and expands his practice.

He has built a comprehensive understanding across the civil jurisdiction, particularly in relation to court practice and procedure, interlocutory and urgent applications, corporations and commercial matters and the application of the Court Rules and the Civil Procedure Act.

Marcus holds a Bachelor of Arts and Laws (with Honours).  He read with James Barber and his Senior Mentor was Jim Peters QC.
