She has developed a diverse practice advising and appearing in a range of jurisdictions including Criminal Law, Coronial Inquiries, Commercial Arbitration, Crime, Elder Law, Family Violence, Family Law, Guardianship and Administration, Mental Health, Wills, Trusts, Succession, Testators Family Maintenance and complex Victims of Crime Compensation Applications.
Elder Law is an area of particular interest as it encompasses many elements of the above areas. It also requires the application of legal knowledge to the assessment of complex family situations and presents a challenge – the preparation of a strategic approach to achieve a resolution in difficult situations and with the aim of reducing litigation.
Minimising conflict and mediating family conflict are also areas that necessarily need to be addressed in some circumstances.
