Amy is currently on a leave of absence from the Victorian Bar, working as in-house counsel for Djirra.
Amy Peek has experience in commercial, criminal and administrative law. Amy’s practice involves both appearance and advice work.
Amy accepts briefs in property, environment and planning, insolvency, contractual disputes, corporations’ law and probate.
In criminal law, Amy accepts briefs for both prosecution and defence trials. She is particularly interested in financial crimes. Amy also appears in enquiries, regulatory matters and crimes’ compensation applications.
Before coming to the Bar, Amy was Senior Associate to the Honourable Justice Hollingworth at the Supreme Court of Victoria. Amy also worked for the Judicial College of Victoria, Norton Rose Fulbright and Maddocks Lawyers. In private practice, she practised in property, and environment and planning.
Amy holds an Indictable Crime Certificate and has undertaken Indigenous cultural awareness training. Amy also has a Masters in Italian History and has taught at the University of Melbourne.
